Analytics in Action: Saving a Victim of Human Trafficking

One such instance was seeing how BriefCam Video Analytics helped stop the trafficking of a 13-year-old girl out of the United States from a major travel hub. For obvious reasons, the details of this case are confidential, but we can confirm that the team of law enforcement and government agencies successfully saved this young teenager, which would not have been possible without the instrumental support of BriefCam’s technology.

Human trafficking is a global problem, and we can all do our part in learning how to recognize the signs of a human trafficking. According to Blue Campaign, a national (US) public awareness campaign designed to educate the public, law enforcement, and other industry partners to recognize and respond to the indicators of human trafficking, it is important to remember that the best way to keep a victim safe is by notifying law enforcement. Do not at any time attempt to confront a suspected trafficker directly or alert a victim to your suspicions. Your safety as well as the victim’s safety is paramount.
